- Our two fitness centers offer something for
everyone to enjoy while toning and training.
The upstairs fitness area will allow you to
experience our new line of Paramount equipment
for overall toning and cardiovascular equipment
including treadmills, stair climbers, upright
and recumbent bikes as well as Precor Elliptical
fitness trainers. This exercise area overlooks
the Glass Court for racquetball viewing and
cable TV is accessible from some stations. The
lower level fitness area includes a free weight
room, Cybex resistance equipment and our new
line of Hammer Strength equipment with the latest
selectorized technology. If cardiovascular exercise
is your goal, there is a treadmill with a flat
screen TV or you can enjoy Pulsenet and “Surf
the Web” or enjoy TV while exercising
on the upright bikes or elliptical trainers
and watch the time and calories fly by!
- Free Orientation Classes – Available
to all members, our regularly scheduled orientations
classes will provide you with the basics of
fitness. The fitness center staff will instruct
you in the proper use of the cardiovascular
equipment during one session and the resistance
equipment is covered in an additional session.
The classes are approximately one hour in length
and offered at various times throughout the
week. There is also an orientation class available
for the free weight room that is scheduled when
interest arises. Learn not only how the equipment
functions, but also how to achieve your basic
fitness goals. These classes are encouraged
for all members and mandatory for anyone under
18 years old. Schedule and sign-up are available
at the front desk. After taking the orientation
classes we offer additional assistance in our
free weight room at specific hours. We encourage
all members to utilize our supervisors for any
help or questions regarding any of the equipment.
